Daigen follows the merc’s order and drops is weapon revealing that it is hooked onto a wire. The goons get a pretty good laugh out of it but there has to be a reason why a gunslinger would have his blade equipped pistol connected to a retractable wire, and I doubt it’s for keeping track of his weapon.
Hello, Hello, Hello! This is going to be a good week for BL&S.
As the Hope’s Landing storyline continues, Boone tells his chilling theory of collateral damage as he explains his way of upholding the law. Later Daigen will be faced with a tough decision that will affect everyone in the saloon including Scarlett and Alice.
Since I couldn’t post a Weekly Review for last week, I figure why not add it into this preview. Last week was monsterous as we hit the 700 like mark on FaceBook. Thank you all for the great support of the comic, and rest assured we will continue to work hard to bring you the best product out there.
Look out for more loopers on the Facebook page and some comic quotes on the Twitter page.
That’s all for now, don’t forget to leave comments on the comic post and feel free to Contact Us directly using the form.
Tensions will be rising in this weeks comic post as Daigen takes things up a notch with a stern warning for his potential captors. Not to be outdone Boone has something in store to counter Daigen’s threats. Check back in on Monday and Thursday to see what happens.
As of now, there aren’t any website updates planned, but stay tuned because the team has been pondering on some new ideas that may find their way to the site at some point.
That’s all for now, don’t forget to comment on the new post and send us feed back on the Contact Us section.
Still held up behind the bar and facing the possibility of a gunfight; Daigen drops a question that just might make the gunslingers think twice about the worth of the bounty. All this was par for the course this week as the back and forth between Daigen and Sheriff Boone continued. Boone wants Daigen to give up and Daigen has resorted to scare tactics in hopes the mercs will phone it in. The question is, who will stick to their hand and who will fold.
As for the website, I updated the Comic Archive section with pages 33-39. For some reason I forgot that I built that page from scratch and had to update it manually. Big oopsie on my part but going forward expect the archive entries to be updated with the new comic post.
Have you guys been checking out the Lizi Loopers on the Facebook page?? If not then FOR SHAME! As I am typing out this very post, I checked in on newest looper and what did I see? A picture of our artist’s foot with nails all painted up in pink, glittery polish. Now if I didn’t decide to check in on the FB page at that moment I would’ve missed it. Lucky for you guys I am a firm believer of the “Sharing is Caring” philosophy. So for all those who may have missed it here is the glorious picture currently making our FB page and the world, a better place.
Now if this doesn’t make you want to check back in for the Lizi Loopers, I don’t know what will.
That’s all for this weeks review, check in tomorrow evening for the preview of the upcoming week.
This week the Hope’s Landing story line continues with Boone and Daigen having a little back and forth. Boone may not be happy about his goons missing a clear chance to make quick work of the bounty, but he has to be feeling confident now that Daigen is cornered. On the other hand, Daigen is feeling peppy himself since he escaped the initial onslaught. With a bloody showdown looming, Daigen poses a question that may make the hired guns think twice about continuing. Stop by on Monday and Thursday to see how these events play out.
I have no planned website tweaks set for this week. I emphasize the word “planned” because if there is one thing I’ve learned while I’ve been creating and monitoring this website; it’s anything can get screwy in an instant causing me to spend a chunk of time having to fix it. So although I’m hoping for everything to be smooth this week, I’m definitely ready for anything…well except for a catastrophic crash, in that case, WE’RE SCREWED!
That’s all for now. Stay tuned in to our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates and remember to leave comments on the comic and blog post.
This week saw Daigen do a heat check on Boone’s definition of justice. It’s going to be interesting to see what side of the law the gritty sheriff really stands on. Even more interesting will be seeing if Scarlett doesn’t get so mad at Daigen for getting her bar shot up, that she doesn’t haul off and slap the mess out of him.
Now, I just want to take a second to talk about the man that makes the pretty visuals for the comic happen, Mr Matt Hebert (AKA A_Bear_Artist). Last weekend we had a meeting about ramping up our fluff production so we can stay ahead of the comic post. Shortly after that, he became ill. Now I don’t know what exactly he came down with (i’m guessing a bad cold). But in the interest of overdramatizing it, thus breeding the material for the EPIC title of this post, I’m going to say he contracted Ebola. See, doesn’t that sound better than saying “Our Artist Kicked a Cold’s Ass?” Believe me when I say he was in bad shape. But despite him feeling like pure crap being thrown in a wood chipper, Matt managed to not only get me three new comic pages, but he got me the material for Daigens intro bio and a kickass celebratory image for our Facebook page. This dude is super talented and a workhorse. Sounds like the tools for success to me. So whenever you have a moment, give Matt a shout-out on our open forum located in the left panel. Or send him a direct message in the Contact Us tab.
Speaking of Daigen’s intro bio, it went live this week in the Wanted Posters tab under Info. The original launch was a little rocky as the wanted poster link was broken. Unfortunately I didn’t realize it till I got to work the next day. So after a full ( and very slow) day of waiting to fix it, I finally got home and patched it up immediately.
Lastly, we had a very good week on Facebook. In just a little over a week we gained two hundred likes and joined the five hundred club. As a thank you we put up a special pic (Below) to celebrate. Click on the image to head over to our FB page and give us a like if you haven’t already.
That’s all for our Week in Review. Check back in tomorrow to see what’s on deck for next week.
